Made Smarter East of England supports SME manufacturers across Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire to adopt digital technology and increase their productivity and profitability.
Businesses are assessed by digital transformation specialists, who help develop a tailored digital roadmap through site visits and workshops, followed by hands-on, intensive support to deliver the plan.
Eligible businesses can also access grant funding of up to £20,000, covering up to 50% of project costs, to de-risk investment in equipment, software and specialist expertise.
The programme further offers manufacturing-focused leadership and management development, funded internships with university and training-provider partners, and a programme of fully funded events and workshops covering topics such as AI adoption and continuous improvement.
